KISS Applications, Inc. ("KissUX," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website at withkissux.com and the Mimi AI companion product. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

When you subscribe to our newsletter or submit a demo request, we collect the information you enter in those forms — which may include your name, email address, organization, job title, and a message. We only collect what you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically

When you visit withkissux.com, Google Analytics collects standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (city level). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. See Section 4 for more on third-party services.

2. How we use your information

• Newsletter subscribers: We use your email address to send periodic updates about KissUX. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• Demo requests: We use the information you submit to follow up about a demonstration of Mimi, and to understand the types of organizations interested in our work.
• Analytics: We use aggregated website analytics to understand how people find and use our site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising targeting.

3. Mimi and user sessions

Mimi, KissUX's AI companion, operates client-side and through third-party AI infrastructure. KissUX does not store individual user session transcripts or interaction logs on our own servers. Any data processed during a Mimi session is handled according to the privacy practices of the underlying AI provider and is not retained by KissUX beyond what is needed to deliver the response.

Where Mimi is deployed within an organization's platform (such as a health system or library network), that organization's own privacy policy governs the data within their environment.

4. Third-party services

HubSpot

Form submissions on this site are processed by HubSpot, Inc. The information you submit is stored in our HubSpot CRM account and used solely for the purposes described above. HubSpot's privacy policy is available at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated usage data. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish returning visitors and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, which may affect how some parts of the site function.

6. Data retention

We retain contact information in HubSpot for as long as it is relevant to our business relationship or until you request deletion. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to subscribers where appropriate.
